Wash U Police Caution Students Following Armed Robbery Near Campus
Washington University Police say two people were robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday night in the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood.
The Washington University Police Department is asking students to be on alert following an armed robbery near the Wash U campus Tuesday evening, in the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood.
According to a crime alert issued by Wash U Police, two students were robbed at gunpoint at Skinker and Westminster around 7:30pm Tuesday, Dec. 20th.
The two victims told police they were walking north on Skinker at Westminster when they were approached by two suspects, one of whom displayed a gun. The two victims were told to get on the ground. They were robbed, however they were not physically injured. The suspects, described as two males in their late teens, then fled on foot.
