Here is a look at the blotter from the week of March 5-11.

The department arrested 50 adults and 16 juveniles. There were four burglaries and two reports of shots fired.

Report Address Date Incident Disposition 12-7310 7421 Teasdale Ave. March 5

The victim said she returned to her residence and noticed her gate ajar. When she went inside the residence she heard a bang at the front door and then observed a while male in his early 20s, 5'4"-5'6", dark hair, running east on Teasdale. It was discovered the suspect gained entry by damaging the rear door.

12-7318 7037 Dartmouth Ave. March 5

The victim stated person(s) unknown gained entry into his apartment by damaging a door. The suspect(s) stole several items.

12-7340 7353 Lynn Ave. March 5

The victim stated person(s) unknown gained entry into her residence by forcing a window open. The suspect(s) stole electronics.

12-7912 8333 Fullerton Ave. March 10

A witness stated they heard loud bangs, believed to be gun shots, and a canvass of the area for suspects or evidence met with negative results.

12-8021 8368 Fullerton Ave. March 11

Officers responded to a call for shots fired. A witness observed four black maless driving around in the Monte Carlo and three males walking in the same area. The witness stated the Monte Carlo pulled onto the lot they heard several shots come from the vehicle. When officers arrived, the occupants of the Monte Carlo drove away traveling west on Fullerton.

The vehicle was later located and the driver/owner was taken into custody for investigation. No reported injuries or damage.
