U City Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash

The crash was on I-270.

A University City resident was injured Monday in a two-vehicle accident on northbound I-270, just south of Highway 21.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 10:50 a.m. Feb. 13.

A 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by Alicia R. Johnston, 20, of Lebanon, IL, was stalled after running out of fuel. Her car was struck from behind by a 2005 Dodge Neon, driven by Eliza M. Pautz, 25, Edwardsville, IL.

A passenger in Pautz's car, Linnea E. Larson, 34, University City, and Johnston sustained minor injuries in the crash. Both were taken to by .

All three women involved were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
