U City Police: Burglaries, Man Tries to Steal Car

The department arrested 47 adults and four juveniles. There were three burglaries and one attempted car theft.

The reporting party noticed that the inner part of the dead bolt lock of the back door had been pulled out of place. Entry was not gained.
13-12451 3xx Alta Dena Court May 4The reporting party witnessed a man peering into the window of neighbor's house. Upon arrival, the officers were notified the alarm at the residence had been activated. A back window had been pried and the lock had been broken. The homeowner responded and stated nothing appeared to be missing from the residence.

The reporting party thought the suspect was male.
13-12050 12xx Hafner April 30The reporting party stated person(s) unknown attempted to forcibly enter residence, as evidenced by a security bar. Entry was not gained.
The reporting party observed a black male in neighbor's vehicle attempting to steal it. The suspect fled.
The suspect was later arrested.
