U City Police Blotter: Stolen Cars, Electronics

The department arrested 47 adults and two juveniles. There were two burglaries and four motor vehicle thefts.

Report Address Date Incident Disposition 13-7904 10xx Pennsylvania Ave. Jan. 15

The reporting party stated 2 black males stole his motor scooter. The reporting party stated the keys were in the ignition.

Suspect 1 is described as 18 years of age, and Suspect 2 16 years of age.

13-8160 11xx Ursula Ave.  March 23

The reporting party stated person(s) unknown stole gold 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis parked in front of residence overnight.

The vehicle was later recovered in St. Louis City with the steering column punched.

13-7662 7xx Westgate Ave. March 15

The reporting party stated person(s) unknown stole taupe-colored 2000 Dodge Stratus between March 15-18.

The vehicle was later recovered in St. Louis City with damage to the steering column.

13-7762 Kingsbury and Melville Ave. March 15

The reporting party stated person(s) unknown stole blue 2002 Dodge Dakota.

A computer check revealed it had been recovered in St. Louis City with the ignition punched.

13-7804 10xx Pennsylvania Ave. March 19

Officers responded to an Open Door report. The rear door had damage to the door frame. Electronics were missing.

13-7630 12xx Mount Olive Ave. March 14

The reporting party stated person(s) unknown forced the rear basement door of his residence open, gained entry, and stole several items.

Two suspects arrested and property recovered.
