U City Police Blotter: Robbery, Attempted Auto Theft

Each week, University City Patch features a look at reports from the University City Police Department.

Here is a look at the blotter from the week of Feb. 18-24, 2013.

The department arrested 40 adults and two juveniles. There was one robbery, one burglary and one attempted automobile theft. 

The reporting party stated a black male robbed with a gun, believed fake, and stole an iPhone. The reporting party stated that the suspect got into a vehicle with the driver.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 20 YOA, The vehicle is described as a tan or gold compact vehicle.

The reporting party stated person(s) unknown shattered the rear passenger vent window of her secured vehicle and attempted to steal it, as evidenced by damage to the steering column. No items were taken from the vehicle.

The reporting party stated that while at work, person(s) unknown forced the door to the residence and stole a piece of electronics.
