  • Report 12-669 — Between 1 p.m.-10:17  p.m. on Jan. 6, a residences at 6605 Crest Ave. was broken into. The reporting party stated person(s) unknown had unlawfully entered his residence through an unsecured basement door. The reporting party stated electronics were removed. No suspect(s) were located.
  • Report 12-622 — Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Jan. 6, three apartments at 7246 Pershing Ave. were brokin into. Person(s) unknown had forcibly entered three of the four apartments of a four-family unit and items removed from each. According to the report, there was a for rent sign in front of the building.
  • Report 12-612 — Between 12 p.m. on Dec. 30 and 11:55 a.m. on Jan. 6 a theft was reported at a building at 7273 Olive Blvd. The reporting party stated person(s) unknown had unlawfully entered his business and had stolen several items, including vacuums, etc. The reporting party suspects a recently hired subject of the theft. The reporting party stated he had given the subject a check for labor and supplies, and he has been unable to contact the suspect since. A male, aged 54, is a suspect in the case.
  • Report 12-108 — A burglary was reported at 8348 Olive Blvd. between the hours of 11 p.m. on Jan. 1 and 2:37 a.m. Jan. 2. During a building check, the rear door to the business was found damaged and open. The owner responded and advised he did not find any missing items. Two juveniles and an adult taken into custody for offense.
  • Report 12-702 — A residence at 8365 Elmore Ave. was broken into between 3 and 7:15 a.m. on Jan. 7. The reporting party stated her neighbor's door had been left open and she knew she was out of town. Suspect developed in this case. The adult arrested in the 8348 Olive offense is suspect in this offense.
  • Report 12-660 — A burglary was reported between 7-9 p.m. on Jan. 6 at 8354 Olive Blvd. The reporting party stated person(s) unknown had unlawfully entered the business and had stolen several items. It was discovered that the south facing rear door was apparently left unsecured. Two male subjects were observed on video surveillance inside the business during this time. The briefcase was later recovered in a rear alley at 8350 Olive. All of the reporting party's property was still inside the briefcase. The suspects in the other two incidents have been implicated in this, as some stolen items recovered.
