U City Police Blotter: iPad, Jeep Cherokee Stolen

University City Police incidents from the week of Sept. 3-9.

The department arrested 52 adults and one juvenile. There was one auto theft, three attempted auto thefts and four reports of burglary/property destruction.

Person(s) unknown gained entry into the victim's vehicle by damaging a window.

Person(s) unknown gained entry into the victim's vehicle by damaging a door lock. The suspect(s) also damaged the steering column.

12-29638 765 Syracuse Ave. Sept. 4

Person(s) unknown gained entry into the victim's vehicle by damaging a window. The suspect(s) also damaged the steering column.

12-29460 7136 Dartmouth Ave. Sept. 3

Person(s) unknown stole the victim's vehicle.

The vehicle, a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, was recovered in St. Louis City.

12-29697 7616 Lynn Ave. Sept. 5

Person(s) unknown gained entry into the victim's residence by forcing the basement door.

Suspect identified in case.

12-29421 7551 Delmar Blvd. Sept. 3

The victims stated entry gained by unknown means into apartment. The suspect(s) stole electronics.
