U City Police Blotter: Assault, Auto Theft, Burglaries

University City Police incidents from the week of Aug. 20-26.

Each week, University City Patch features a look at reports from the University City Police Department.

Here is a look at the blotter from the week of Aug. 20-26.

The department arrested 63 adults and two juveniles. There was one robbery, two assaults, one auto theft and one attempted auto theft. 

Report Address Date Incident Disposition 12-28466 6920 Olive Blvd. Aug. 25

Victim injured during an altercation with a group of subjects.

Two suspects were arrested for assault and one suspect being sought.

12-28070 6300 Cates Ave.  Aug. 21

Person(s) unknown gained entry into the victim's unsecured vehicle by damaging a door lock. The suspect(s) damaged the ignition switch.

12-28542 6693 Enright Ave. Aug. 26

The victim stated a subject approached him and demanded his belongings. The suspect fled and was pursued into St. Louis by our officers. Learned that he was involved in similar incidences in St. Louis earlier that night.

The suspect was apprehended and arrested.

12-28193 7146 Waterman Ave. Aug. 22

Person(s) unknown stole the victim's vehicle.

The vehicle, a Honda Odyssey, was recovered in St. Louis City.
