U City Police Blotter: A/C Pushed In, Copper Stolen

Report Address Date Incident Disposition 13-11634 68xx Julian Ave. March 6- April 26

The reporting party reported a suspicious subject walking from a vacant residence carrying items. Upon Officer's arrival, a broken basement window was discovered. The suspect(s) stole an unknown amount of copper.

13-11820 65xx Etzel Ave.  April 26

The reporting party stated person(s) unknown forced open a side door to the residence and stole copper piping.

A possible suspect is being sought.

13-11404 14xx Midland Blvd. April 24

Officers responded to an open door report. Upon arrival, the window with an A/C unit appeared to have been pushed in. Copper was missing from the vacant residence.

13-11299 8xx Lepere Street April 22-23

The reporting party stated person(s) unknown stole his truck overnight. The vehicle was later recovered in St. Louis City with damage under the driver's side door handle.

13-11736 79xx Glenside Lane April 27

Officers responded to an alarm sounding at a residence. Upon arrival, the front door was discovered to have been damaged, and the owners reported items stolen.
