U City Police Blotter: Break-Ins, Copper Theft

University City Police incidents from the week of Dec. 24-30.

Here is a look at the blotter from the week of Dec. 24-30.

The department arrested 44 adults and one juvenile. There were two robberies and six burglaries.

District Report Address Date Incident Disposition District 1 12-41282 6621 Chamberlain Ave. Dec. 26

The reporting party stated a male subject was attempting to enter the residence. Police were summoned and captured the man attempting to flee.

A male suspect was arrested for Attempted Burglary. He is also suspect in other vacant property thefts.

District 1 12-41463 1165 Ursula Ave. Dec. 21-27

Burglary of foreclosed property by person(s) unknown, with copper piping, A/C unit copper piping, and furnace coil stolen.*

District 1 12-41562 6800 Olive Blvd. Dec. 29

Suspect entered the store and pointed a black handgun at the cashier and demanded the money. Suspect fled the store on foot north on Ferguson.

A male suspect was arrested for Robbery with warrants issued.

District 1 12-41623 6714 Julian Ave. Dec. 30

The reporting party stated person(s) unknown had forced entry into residence by kicking in the front door. Victim was alerted to alarm activation but cancelled it, later to find home was entered.

District 3 12-41620 7120 Waterman Ave. Dec. 28-30

Person(s) unknown forced entry into residence and was discovered by a neighbor.*

District 5 12-41287 7439 Liberty Ave. Dec. 20-26

The reporting party stated person(s) unknown had unlawfully entered her residence and took several items.*

District 5 12-41564 7219 Olive Blvd. Dec. 29

The reporting party stated he allowed an acquaintance into his residence, along with a female subject. He was assaulted by the male who took cash and the victim's vehicle.

A male suspect was later arrested and warrants issued.

District 7 12-41641 7723 Blackberry Ave. Dec. 30

The reporting party stated person(s) unknown forced entry into the residence and took items and the victim's car.

One suspect was arrested and vehicle recovered, as well as other items. Two suspects are being sought. Warrants issued on suspect.
