U City Man One of Four Charged in Overland Murder

Zachariah Anderson, 22, was found dead Sunday.

A 17-year-old from University City was one of four people charged in a connection with a murder Sunday in Overland.

According to KSDK, Cameron M. Shelton has been charged in the death of Zachariah Anderson, 22, of Overland. Court records report that Shelton lives on Paramount Drive in U City.

Also charged in the case are Amanda Calloway, 25, St. Louis; Tommy Killion, 18, Pine Lawn; and Cameron Spencer, 18, St. Louis.

All four suspects face charges of:

  • First degree robbery
  • First degree burglary
  • Second degree murder and 
  • Armed criminal action. 

A cash-only bond was set at $ 250,000. A 16-year-old also is being held in connection with the case and a fifth adult suspect is being sought, Fox 2 reports.

KMOV reports that Anderson was shot inside his home in the 9900 block of Iveland in Overland just before 10 p.m. on Sunday. 

Police told KMOV that said multiple people who were inside the home when the shooting occurred cooperated with authorities. The case was investigated by the Major Case Squad.
