U City Man Accused of Dropping, Injuring Infant Son

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Jeremy Giles, 25, is charged with assault.

A 4-month-old baby was dropped at home, causing serious injuries to the baby's head and torso. 

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the child's father, Jeremy M. Giles, 25, has been charged with assault in connection with his son's injuries.

Giles lives on Balson Ave. in University City.

The Post reports that the child was taken to St. Louis Children's Hospital April 24. University City Police were called when doctors suspected child abuse.
