Two Charged With Burglary as U City Police Seek Third Suspect

One man eluded police after a chase led into the city of St. Louis, where the getaway car crashed Tuesday.

A man and a woman face charges for a Tuesday burglary as University City Police search for a third suspect in the burglary.

Keisha Tyler, 22, of the 6500 block of Alabama Avenue in St. Louis, and Eric Irons, 21, of the 6800 block of Plymouth Avenue in University City, were charged with second-degree burglary and felony stealing. Tyler also was charged with resisting arrest.

University City Police said Tyler drove Irons and another man to the 6800 block of Plymouth Avenue near Irons’ home. Irons and the other man went inside the home and took two flat-screen televisions and X-Box and PlayStation 3 game systems and loaded the items into the car.
