Police: Teen Tried Counterfeit Bills at Businesses in the Loop

Employees said the woman may have successfully passed counterfeit bills earlier.

A teenager was with trying to pass counterfeit bills in two businesses on he Loop Saturday.

Dreale Boyce, 18, of the 11300 block of Parkmount in Riverview, faces two counts of forgery.

said Boyce tried to pass a $10 and $20 bills in businesses at 6662 and 6681 Delmar Blvd. in the Loop.

The woman successfully used a counterfeit bill at a couple of days before, and when she returned employees were ready for her, according to a KMOV-TV report.

Bond for Boyce was set at $10,000.
