U City Police Blotter: Burglaries, Auto Theft

Here is a look at the blotter from the week of Aug. 13-19.

The department arrested 35 adults and two juveniles.  There were two burglaries, one attempted burglary and two auto thefts.

Report Address Date Incident Disposition 12-27755 1084 Roth Ave. Aug. 18-19

The victim stated person(s) unknown stole her vehicle. The vehicle is described as a 1998 brown/gray Dodge Intrepid, license plate no. MO 14 "DJ4C7J".

12-27543 6623 Washington Ave. Aug. 16

The victim stated person(s) unknown, by unknown means, gained entry into his apartment and stole various items.

A resident of the building was arrested for burglary. Also suspect in earlier burglary in building.


7196 Hazelwood Lane Aug. 16

The victim stated two young black males entered his residence and he chased the suspects out of the house. Nothing appeared to be missing. Entry was gained through a window.

12-27605 8433 Elmore Ave. Aug. 17

Person(s) unknown stole the victim's vehicle.

The vehicle, a 2001 Ford Ecoline van, was recovered in St. Louis City.

12-27753 945 Old Bonhomme Road Aug. 17-19

Person(s) unknown attempted to gain entry into the victim's residence, which is vacant. The window screen was raised and the window was damaged.
