Police and Fire Respond to Downed Power Line on Olive Blvd.
On Wednesday evening, University City Police and Fire responded to a power line that fell in the middle of the road on Olive Blvd.
On Wednesday evening in University City, drivers received an unexpected detour at Olive Blvd and Sheridan Drive.
A power line fell across Olive Blvd., causing an enormous spark which filled the street with smoke.
Bystanders said the wire fell around 5:20 p.m. The University City Fire Department blocked off the street so motorists would not have direct contact with the fallen wire.Â
