No Arrests in Double Homicide; Police Seek Public's Help

The Police continue to ask for the public's help in finding those responsible for the two deaths.

The University City Police Department continues to ask for the public's help in solving two killings from last week. 

On Thursday, June 13, police discovered two deceased men. On Friday, the Police identified the deceased as Gary Workes, 59, and Maurice (Bud) Karzin, 77.

"We are working diligently to solve this case and would appreciate any information the public might have," Sgt. Frederick Lemons told Patch. "We are still asking the public to let us know if they have any information that may aid in an arrest."

According to the Police Department, officers responded to 812 Pennsylvania at 9:58 a.m. June 13. Workes had not reported to work and a company representative called the police to check in.

A check of the 2nd floor apartment revealed two deceased males. The two had lived at the location for several years.
