Neighbors Spotted Burglars Leaving U City Home, Police Say

Witnesses spotted two people leaving a neighbor’s house, called 911, and officers caught one of the men, police said.

Dawondrey D. Woods, 17, of the 7300 block of Wayne Avenue in University City, was charged Sept. 21 with second-degree burglary.

University City police said neighbors spotted two men leaving a home in the 7300 block of Wayne. Woods lives nearby in the same block.

Woods is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $7,500.
