University City police said a resident already had confronted Kevyon Clemons after he tried to steal the scotter four days earlier.

A man is accused of dragging a motor scooter away from a University City home after being chased off once by a resident.

Kevyon Clemons, 21, of the 5400 block of Thrush Avenue in St. Louis, was charged Thursday with attempted first-degree robbery and first-degree tampering.
