Man Caught With Semi-Automatic Handgun With 32 Rounds, Police Say

University City Police said Terron Jackson was illegally carrying the weapon in the 8000 block of Noel Court.

University City Police found a man carrying a concealed TEC-9 semi-automatic pistol March 15 in University City.

Terron Jackson, 19 of the 1100 block of 18th Street in St. Louis, was charged March 16 with unlawful use of a weapon.

University City Police reported an officer stopped Jackson in the 8000 block of Noel Court after the officer saw him take some suspicious actions, including throwing away a bag that contained a TEC-9 semi-automatic handgun. The gun had a magazine with 32 live rounds.

During a search, the officer said he found Jackson had some marijuana.

Bail for Jackson was set at $10,000. He has been released from St. Louis County jail.
