UCPD and UCFD responded to 6508 Julian for a report of a fire.  After the fire was extinguished, the fire department entered the vacant residence and discovered a portion of the flooring appeared to be with an accelerant.  Further investigation to continue.

The victim stated a male suspect demanded her purse and as he grabbed her purse, she struggled with him.  The victim's relative attempted to stop the suspect, and was assaulted. 

 

Two arrests were made for  Robbery and Assault.
