Car Plows Into Building at Delmar and Midland

No injuries reported in Friday afternoon crash.

A vehicle struck the building at the corner of Midland and Delmar about 5 p.m. Friday afternoon.

According to , the driver of the vehicle was on Midland and turned into the building instead of making the right onto Delmar.

Officers at the scene told University City Patch that no one was hurt and the crash was "just an accident."

The front entry to 7201 Delmar was crushed in from the impact. The building is next door to .

I go by the corner every day. I cannot imagine how that could be "just an accident". That building is nowhere NEAR the street! I'm certainly not saying it was intentional but, there must be more to this story. Did the driver suffer a blackout or other medical impairment?
It's such a shame too because that building was very unusual, architecturally.

I completely agree!! There is definitely more to this. I turn at this corner from Midland everyday and there is no way. I mean this parking lot is much higher than the street level. There is a secret being kept here.
