Burglar Stole SUV, Navy Seal Knife, Other Items, U City Police Say
The total value of items stolen was more than $10,000, police said.
A North County man broke into a University City home Dec. 30 and stole an SUV, safe, electronics, jewelry, a Navy Seal knife and other items, police said.
Keyan Johnson, 19, of the 8800 block of Natural Bridge Road in Bel-Ridge, was charged Wednesday with second-degree burglary, stealing a motor vehicle and felony stealing.
University City Police said Johnson broke into a home in the 7700 block of Blackberry Avenue. took car keys and stole a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe. He also stole jewelry, a safe, stereo speakers, cash, collector’s coins, two televisions, an Xbox 360, a PlayStation 2 and a knife, according to the report.

Total value of the stolen items, other than the vehicle, was more than $10,000, police said.
Johnson was being held Friday in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $20,000.
