Gardening is a great way to spend time together as family and save money while you do it, by planting an herb or vegetable garden. With spring around the corner, it is a great time to get ready. Beyers Lumber also has a link to Winter Sown, a non-profit network to share heirloom tomato seeds among others donated to the organization. On the Winter Sown site you may select six of your favorite varieties(they have more than 100 varieties), then send in a self-addressed sealed envelope with two first class stamps and your order form. Your heirloom seeds should arrive in approximately three weeks.
