Paul Lauritsen chosen as new General Manager of Moonrise Hotel in The Loop
Moonrise Hotel, at 6177 Delmar in The Loop, is delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Lauritsen as the new General Manager.
Paul comes to the Moonrise Hotel from The Iron Horse Hotel in Milwaukee, an award-winning boutique hotel recently named among the top 10 on the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List. Paul brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, a strong management and operations background and a creative, hands-on management style.
Prior to his role as General Manager at The Iron Horse, Paul served as the General Manager of the four-star Ambassador East Hotel (now PUBLIC) in Chicago for eight years and Director of Room Operations there for two years. Before hitting the Midwest, Paul was the General Manager of Forbes-Hamilton Hospitality in Provincetown, Ma. He started his career at the famous Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston, Ma.
