Subterranean Books Wants Your Help to Set World Record

Wanna-be record makers are asked to show up at 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 1 at Subterranean Books.

is hoping to make it into the world record books next month.

The University City bookstore is asking for the public's help in setting the world record for most books read aloud in a bookstore at one time. The record-making stunt coincides with a store visit by the creators of The RecordSetter Book of World Records, Corey Henderson and Dan Rollman. World records obsess the two.

Wanna-be record makers are asked to show up at 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 1 at Subterranean Books. No book purchase is necessary to participate, although there will be copies available for purchase and the authors will be on-hand to sign and explain.

During the same time, Subterranean Books will be trying to break the record for - Most Colors Incorporated Into a Sidewalk Chalk Drawing of the St. Louis Arch. That one hinges on the weather permitting.
