One of a Kind Contemporary Home for Sale in U City for $369,900

7745 Cornell Avenue has just been listed for sale. It is a one-of-a-kind open floor plan with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms which has totally been updated. Open Sunday 9/9 from 1-3 PM.

When I decided to move to University City, I looked for a home for a long time. As a real estate agent who had access to every house listed by an agent the moment it was put into the MLS, it still took me a year to find a home that I wanted.

The challenge for me was that while I wanted to be in U City,  I also wanted a house with an open floor plan. And I wanted a space that I could use on the first floor for an office so I wouldn't have to carry the laptop up and down the steps every day.

I finally found the perfect home.

I've been really happy living at 7745 Cornell Avenue for the last 7 years.

While the house met my needs on the day I moved in, I also made a ton of improvements. I updated two bathrooms that still had the original 1960s tile. I updated the kitchen, adding Quartz counters, new appliances, lighting and a glass tile backsplash. I finished the basement, including adding a 4th bedroom. I installed a sprinkler system, over $2,000 in landscaping and put in a patio big enough for a firepit, a large table and BBQ area. Add new paint, carpet and lighting, and there really isn't anything left to do.

But times change and I've decided I'm ready for something smaller, so this one-of-a-kind home with an open floor plan is now for sale. The master suite is huge...big enough to hold 2 king sized beds. There is a full bathroom for every 1st & 2nd floor bedroom - 3 of each.

The house will be open this Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. Please stop by and send by anyone who is ready for a fabulous home that is no more than a 5 minute walk to , , , Tutti Frutti, and .
