Vote for University City in Rand McNally and USA Today's "Best of the Road" Contest

Rand McNally and USA Today second annual search for the Best Small Towns in America has begun. Vote for University City!

What is Best of the Road?

Rand McNally and USA TODAY have teamed up to create a community of road travelers reviewing the best stops on America’s highways and byways, from small towns to the points of interest in and between them–the Best of the Road.

Every year Rand McNally and USA TODAY collect votes for the small towns you think they should visit. They then send amateur travelers across the country exploring the Best Small Towns in America naming the Most Beautiful, Most Patriotic, Friendliest, Most Fun, and Best Small Town for Food with blogs, photos, reviews and videos to take you on the journey from wherever you are.

Review your favorite towns and places year round to get them on the map as the Best of the Road. To vote for , click here.

Thanks for posting this, Jessica. We need to get as many votes as we can. The top contender is approaching 700 votes, the next 600, then 500, 400 and so on. I think we can beat those numbers. Let's Rally!

Congratulations for the GRG, including all hardworking employees, Board members-volunteers and theRead More taxpayers who had the foresight to create such a worthwhile taxing district. This group, with extensive collaboration between governmental agencies, private landowners and citizens, creates interconntected trails throughout our region!
