Wintermarkt Outdoor Festival and Crafts Fair

Wintermarkt is back for another exciting outdoor crafts sale in the spirit of the holiday season. This is an annual event that draws big crowds looking for unique arts & crafts at this annual, local, German-inspired Festival!

The event is ideal for those looking for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts. It is a welcome alternative to the mall! Visitors can expect to find vendors selling jewelry, photographs, candles, Christmas ornaments and locally produced honey. About half the vendors are from within the neighborhood.

A variety of musical groups will perform. They include three Washington University a cappella groups, the bell choir of St. Roch's School, and more.

To keep visitors warm on what could be a cold day, there will be soup, roasted chestnuts, barbeque, glühwein (mulled wine) and hot apple cider. A classic German beer will also be provided by local brewery, Urban Chestnut.

When: Saturday, December 7, 11am-4pm (The event will go on regardless of the weather conditions)
Where: Greg Freeman Park in the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood (6000 Kingsbury Ave. at Des Peres Ave.)
