Opportunities in Bioscience for Women and Minorities: Business and Networking Forum

Bioscience is one of the hottest growing markets in St. Louis and a new pilot program by BioSTL is seeking professional women and minorities interested in starting a business in the industry. The program, called the St. Louis Bioscience Inclusion Initiative, will host a business and networking forum for women and minorities who want to learn about entrepreneurial opportunities in the biosciences and be considered for a training program on how to start such a venture.

At the forum, attendees will learn about the bioscience industry, discover new pathways to business success and meet industry insiders, funders and forward thinkers.

Following the forum, those interested in starting a high-growth bioscience company will be considered for an intensive ten-week training program. The program will provide participants with a systematic pathway for creating a viable high-growth business. It will include skill building and provide support for accessing capital, facilities, and networks.
