Widow Files Wrongful Death Suit Against U City Apartment Owners

The widow of a Desoto, Missouri, man electrocuted while working at a U City apartment complex 2 years ago has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the owners of the apartment complex.

The widow of a Desoto, Missouri, man electrocuted while trying to repair a light fixture at a University City apartment complex has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the apartment owners, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

David Michael Dempsey died on August 19, 2009 at the age of 31, according to his obituary. Dempsey, an employee for Hornbeck Construction Co., was killed while working at the complex located at 6300 Olive Blvd, reports the Post.
