What's Open? Christmas Weekend in U City

With Christmas Day falling on a Tuesday this year, many people have long weekends ahead of them. Looking to get out of the house on Christmas Eve or Christmas? We've got a list of where you can go in University City. 

This Weekend

• Vintage Vinyl — Extended hours at the Loop's best record store. Vintage Vinyl will be open until 10 p.m. Friday night and from 10 a.m. until midnight, Saturday, Dec. 22.
• Star Clipper — Has 10 deals under $25. Click here for a full list.
• Blueberry Hill — Looking for a gift for the person who has everything? Why not try Blueberry Hill's collectibles sale from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. There will be $1, $5, $10 and $25 tables.

Christmas Eve, Dec. 24

• Blueberry Hill — Open for food from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the bar is open from 11 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Dec. 25
• Centennial Commons — Open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Big Shark Bicycle Company — Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• University City Public Library — Open from 9 a.m. to noon.

Christmas Day, Dec. 25

• Blueberry Hill — Open for food from 6 p.m. to midnight. The bar is open from 6 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
• Eclipse Restaurant — The Eclipse is serving a holiday plated meal for $45 between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. The price includes non-alcoholic drinks. The menu includes a shoice of Beef Wellington or Sugarcane Baked Ham, spiced apples & pears, creamed spinach and artichoke, twisted twice baked potato, chorizo cornbread stuffing, a trio of squash gratin with boursin and horseradish, orange & cranberry relish and Eggnog Bread Pudding with Amaretto Crème Anglaise.  Reservations never required always appreciated! 314-726-2222.
