Cupcake Conquerors

The team representing Jilly's Cupcake Bar and Cafe wins Cupcake Wars on the Food Network, reports the St. Louis Post Dispatch. To savor the sweet taste of victory head over to Jilly's and pick up a four pack of the winning cupcakes for just under $20.00.

The St. Louis Post Dispatch did the calorie count for one of the winning cupcake recipes. It tops 800 calories. ( it just so happens to be the Space Monkey cupcake that I completely chowed down on Wednesday. Yum but Yikes!)

Publicly Relating

University City has hired a PR and marketing firm. Part of the initial process involves interviewing city residents in regard to their perceptions of the community, the Post Dispatch reported.

Delmar Dollars?

West End Word Columnist David Linzee, who is a University City resident, has floated the idea that U City should have its own local currency.
