Centennial Commons to Offer Free Fitness Classes

The week of January 16th, Centennial Commons is offering free classes to anyone who is interested in attending.

If your New Year's resolution was to get fit, Centennial Commons hopes to help make that pledge a reality.

During the week of January 16th, the recreation facility is offering a variety of new and popular classes for FREE. That way you can sample, before signing up. 

MONDAY 1/16

  • Core Fusion - 6:00pm-7:00pm
  • Restorative Yoga 7:00pm-8:15pm

TUESDAY 1/17

  • Golden Lions Low Impact Strength Class - 9:00am-10:00am
  • Senior Stretcherize - 10:00am-11:00am
  • Tai Ji - 5:00pm-6:00pm
  • Belly Dancing - 6:00pm-7:00pm

WEDNESDAY 1/18

  • Total Body Conditioning - 9:30am-10:30am
  • Zumba - 6:00pm-7:00pm
  • Evening Yoga - 7:00pm-8:00pm

THURSDAY 1/19

  • Senior Stretcherize - 10:00am-11:00am
  • Intermediate Pilates - 6:00pm-7:00pm

FRIDAY 1/20

  • Butts and Gutts - 9:15am-10:00am
  • Zumba - 10:30am-11:30am

SATURDAY 1/21

  • Beginning Pilates - 8:30am-9:30am
  • "Little Dancers" Ballet Class for Tots - 10:00am-10:45am
  • "Little Dancers" Ballet Class for Ages 6-7 - 11:00am-11:45am

Scholarship Information
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry has developed a limited scholarship program for University City residents who meet the qualifying income requirements. For more information, call 505-8617.
