Northbound I-170 Ramp to Delmar Closes Monday For 2 Weeks

MoDOT will close the southbound I-170 ramps at Delmar Blvd on Monday, August 1, for up to two weeks.

Motorists who normally take the northbound I-170 ramp to Delmar will need to make alternative plans for the next several weeks.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will close that section of road for up to two weeks, starting at 5 a.m. Monday, July 25, according to a MoDOT press release.

Drivers on westbound Delmar will be able to access both northbound McKnight and northbound I-170 during the closure.  Drivers on southbound McKnight will be able to access eastbound Delmar during that closure as well

Crews will be replacing the existing pavement and connecting the ramps to the new bridge during the closure. MoDOT closed the Delmar Bridge in April after an inspection showed the bridge had become unsafe for public use. Construction has been underway since May 20. The bridge is scheduled to reopen by September 1.
