Move-In Day at Washington University: Freshman Make Themselves at Home

Freshman students spent Thursday morning moving in at the South 40 residence halls on the campus of Washington University.

With the help of family and upperclassmen volunteers, nearly 1,500 freshman spent the morning bringing in luggage, furniture, and appliances to their new homes-away-from-home in the South 40 residence halls at Washington University.

Classes begin on Tuesday, August 30th, giving students and their families the weekend to get moved in and acclimated to their new space.

Incoming freshman and their families are feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness for this new chapter in their lives. Check out the photo gallery for a look at what the incoming class is looking forward to.
