•  — This week the east area of University City is set for spring leaf collection. To ensure prompt service, leaves must be raked to the curb the day (Sunday) before collection begins in your area.
• — Polls are open in University City Tuesday until 7 p.m. Don't forget to go out and vote for city council, Proposition S and SLCC Board of Trustees. 
• Flynn Park PTO Special Session — Parent think tank is scheduled for 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, at This is an opportunity to share concerns and ideas with other parents.
• Camp Lakewood Open House — Camp Lakewood Director Phil Beam will share all that Camp Lakewood has to offer campers, show a short video, and answer your questions. U City parents and Camp Lakewood alums will share their stories and answer questions. The event will be held from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at 8135 Stanford Ave. RSVPs are requested, but not required.
