Friday Food Critic: Dewey's Pizza

Review the University City pizza place to win a $10 restaurant gift card from Patch.

When it comes to restaurants,  has it covered.

We have some great local places along the Delmar Loop that many would consider community gems; we have some restaurants that aren't exactly mom-and-pop but are unique to the area; and we have a few chains lining our streets.

We here at Patch love our local food scene and we bet you do too. That's why we are asking for your opinion. It's your community. You eat the food. You tell us if it passes the mark.

That's why we have Foodie Fridays, a column where each week we will put a different restaurant on the chopping block. You tell us how you feel about it, what dishes are good, who has the best drink specials and so forth.

This week, we want to know what you think of , located at the corner of North and South and Delmar Blvd.

To review , simply click on its name. You'll be directed toward their community listing in our places directory, where you can rate them on a five-star system or write a personal review.

The best part? You could be selected for a $10 gift card to a restaurant of your choice. Each week, we'll randomly select three reviewers from across the St. Louis area.

What are you waiting for? Let the reviewing begin!

Good non-traditional pizza, especially the wild mushrooms in white sauce. You can split in half the toppings on one pizza, and there are many choices. I love the crust! There are numerous large (and smaller) salad choices, all fresh and delicious. The service is good and we like the music playing. One downside: the high ceilings make it loud and hard to converse without shouting -- which, obviously, is why it's loud!
