BLOOD DRIVE AT U CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY
Give the gift of life this holiday season by donating blood to the American Red Cross. will host a four-hour blood drive on Tuesday. Walk-ins are welcome. However, donors can also make an appointment online at www.redcrossblood.org. The sponsor code is “Ucitylibrary.”

RAJA THE ELEPHANT TURNS 19!
Head to the Saint Louis Zoo on Tuesday and help Raja, the first Asian elephant born at the Zoo, celebrate his 19th birthday. Raja was born on December 27, 1992. Weather permitting, zookeepers and volunteers will host a birthday party for Raja at his habitat in River's Edge. Raja will receive presents filled with some of his favorite things -- cereal, melons, bananas, popcorn and more. Visitors are invited to sing "Happy Birthday" and cheer for Raja when he comes out to "open" his gifts.

KWANZAA CONCERT CELEBRATION AT TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN
The Songs of Africa Ensemble, a multicultural vocal ensemble, will give a Kwanzaa Celebration concert on Friday at . The Songs of Africa Ensemble will both entertain and educate audiences by singing a repertoire of songs in African languages about topics ranging from spirituality, religion, community, work and play. Tickets: $10 for adults. $5 for students. Children 12 and under are free. To buy tickets call (314) 652-6800.
