ST. LOUIS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Now in its 20th year, the St. Louis International Film Festival is one of the largest international film festivals in the Midwest. This year's festival includes, 35 Features; 62 Documentaries and 76 Shorts. The Tivoli, COCA and Wash U are hosting events.

MEET LOCAL ARTIST AARON BOS-WAHL AT THE LIBRARY
is holding a reception for local artist Aaron Bos-Wahl on Friday. His work will be on display during November in the library's "Gallery" area. The exhibit entitled “Natural History,” features new watercolors and other objects. FREE

HAPPY HOUR WITH U CITY FINGER PAINTING ARTIST NAOMI SILVER
Mingle with University City finger painting artist Naomi Silver on Friday at the Tavern, located near the Forest Park Metrolink station. Her work will be on sale during the Happy Hour. Silver's work will be on display at the Tavern through the end of November. FREE to view. It'll COST to eat or drink.

GET A HAIRCUT AND 'HELP A HERO'
For every haircut on Veterans Day at Sport Clips in Creve Coeur, the salon will donate $1.00 to the VFW's Operation Uplink. The program provides free call days to deployed and hospitalized American military personnel every month.

HEALTHFEST AT THE SCIENCE CENTER
A dose of healthy fun for the whole family this Saturday at the Saint Louis Science Center. Dozens of health-related exhibitors will be on hand for the event. Attendees can get information on healthy lifestyles and health-related services. Free health screenings for all ages will be offered - plus great giveaways.
