Celebrate Kids to Park Day in University City

U City is the only city in the state participating in the national event.

is inviting all area children to come out and celebrate National Kids to Parks Day. The purpose of the event is to encourage kids to explore national, state and local parks. 

The Quest U City Scavenger Hunt begins at 9 a.m and runs until noon. The scavenger hunt runs through the city's 17 parks. All participants should meet at , Midland/Shaftesbury Entrance.

The grand prize for the scavenger hunt is a child’s bike (gift certificate) donated by Big Shark. 

Other prizes include a three-month family membership at , junior golf lessons for four children at the City golf course in , a pair of tennis shoes donated by MO Running, a custom t-shirt from , gift certificates for 3 games of bowling for family of 4 (includes shoes) for two scavenger hunt winners and to all participants a Summer Fun Bowling Pass (2 Free Games of Bowling A Day All Summer) and more.
