Which Pizza Is Your Favorite: La Pizza or Joanie's?

Riverfront Times readers rated the Soulard pizza spot above U City's La Pizza in both thick and thin crust categories. Do you demand a recount?

RFT readers chose La Pizza as one of the St. Louis area's best pizza makers, the publication revealed in its Restaurants 2013 guide. The U City restaurant ranked in the top five for Favorite Thick Crust and Thin Crust pizzas, placing third and second, respectively.

Why didn't it place any higher? Blame Joanie's Pizza, with spaces in Soulard and Oakville. While Tower Grove’s Blackthorn Pub took the prize for Favorite Thick Crust, Joanie’s was named the Favorite Thin Crust and second Favorite Thick Crust. Rankings were determined by reader votes, according to RFT

Both La Pizza and Joanie's offer several sandwich and salad options (not to mention awesome lunch specials). Do you think La Pizza should have ranked above the rest?
