Watch St. Louis’ Favorite Cupcake Makers on “Cupcake Wars”

Casey Shiller and Dana Holland appear in their second run on the reality baking show on May 5. Competition cupcakes will be available at the store on May 6.

Jilly's Cupcake Bar is hosting a viewing party on May 5 to celebrate the return of Casey Shiller and Dana Holland to the reality TV competition "Cupcake Wars.”

Confections featured in the competition will be available at the U City shop starting May 6, according to their Facebook page.

Whether the Jilly's chefs win or lose, it likely won’t change the love residents have for them. RFT readers chose Jilly’s as their favorite cupcake in the St. Louis area, the publication revealed in its Restaurants 2013 guide.

“Jilly’s cupcakes change by the day (but 8 everyday flavors are available), month and holiday… but whatever the season, these beautiful, whimsical cupcakes manage to perk up the grayest, dullest day,” according to RFT.

The bakery beat out The Cup, Sweet Divine, SweeArt and Sarah Cake Stop for the honor.

The Daily Meal chose Jilly’s as one of the top 50 places in the nation for cupcakes.
