Experience: High school graduate, supplemented by computer courses. Graduation from a Technical School such as secretarial school or relevant experience, with ability to type at least 55-65 wpm. Previous executive level secretarial experience of at least 2 years in fast paced office environment.  Demonstrated proficiency with MICROSOFT Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities: Responsible for initiating, answering and following-up on correspondence, inquiries, complaints and calls for the Director. Prepares and compiles forms, reports, personnel records, bills, invoices, or other material.  Schedule webinars/seminars, request for equipment and set up if necessary.  Prepares complicated spreadsheets, database inquiries, maintains complex records, sets up and maintains Director’s files. Who’s Hiring: St. Louis County Department of Public Works
Location: Clayton
Job: Supervisor, Inspections - Chief Plumbing Inspector

Salary: $52,353.60 - $83,782.40 annually
Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Hydraulics and four years plumbing trade experience including two years in a supervisory or project management capacity; or any equivalent combination of eight years training and experience.  Preference will be given to applicants with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Hydraulics and six years plumbing trade experience including four  years in a supervisory or project management capacity; or any equivalent combination of ten years training and experience. Possession of a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for managing the Plumbing Inspection section of the Code Enforcement Division of the Department of Public Works and involves interpreting and enforcing the St. Louis County Plumbing Code and ordinances to ensure compliance.
