As always, lots going on in the food world around University City and the Delmar Loop.

Blueprint Coffee Opens

Blueprint Coffee opened on Labor Day at 6225 Delmar Blvd. (in the same block with Mission Taco Joint and Chubbie's). The shop is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday. The RFT's Gut Check reviewed the new pour-over coffee shop. Read the review here.

Redbird Soda

Fitz's Bottling Co. has come out with Cardinal Cream Soda, a red version of its classic flavor. For a limited time, Key Lime flavored soda is also available. This isn't the first time Fitz's has created special flavors. Last year Fitz's partnered with Pi Pizzeria and Kaldi's Coffee to create Fitz’s Coffee Cola and Fitz’s Ginger Beer.
