New Yoga Studio Sets Up Shop in University City

D's Yoga Home is located at 7647 Delmar Blvd at the corner of Delmar and North and South in University City.

The yogis of University City have a new place to rest, relax, re-energize and revitalize. A new yoga studio has moved into town.

D's Yoga Home is located at 7647 Delmar Blvd., at the corner of Delmar and North and South. It used to be housed at 425 Marshall Avenue in St. Louis.

The studio offers classes such as, Awaken, which describes itself as being, “better than coffee," -- while Fresh From The Yoga OvenSweet Sweaty Power Hour and Good to the Last Drop are for more seasoned yogis.

Owner of D's Yoga Home, Danielle Tridenti said making the move to U City was a no-brainer. "I love the community vibe and intimacy of University City. And did I mention it's across the street from Starbucks?"

Not only is there a across the street, is on the opposite corner and Missouri Running Company is just a couple doors down.

Some of the finest teachers in St. Louis are offering their yoga expertise at D's Yoga Home, which offers 30+ classes a week for students of every level. Tridenti prides herself on having a welcoming, fun and creative feeling to her yoga studio. In her own words, "We keep it real at D's."

Tridenti said there are many misconceptions to people unfamiliar with yoga. "Often times people think it's just a bunch of stretching and chanting, but the reality is everyone can benefit from yoga," said Tridenti. She said the practice delivers a total body experience.
