The AAA definition for a Four Diamond rating is as follows:
Properties are upscale in all areas. Accommodations are refined and stylish. The physical attributes reflect enhanced quality throughout. The fundamental hallmarks at this level include an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service, and attention to detail.
Only 4.5% of the 31,000 hotels evaluated by AAA’s formal rating system achieve Four Diamond status, according to a news release from the Moonrise.
Moonrise owner Joe Edwards said it's wonderful that the hotel is getting national recognition. "I couldn't be more proud of our staff," said Edwards.
