Learn How to Dance "Gangnam Style"

The Chesterfield Athletic Club is offering fitness dance classes that feature the K-pop sensation.

With 340 million views on YouTube, its safe to say that music video for the Korean pop song "Oppa Gangnam Style" has become an Internet sensation. It swept into popularity last month due partly to its catchy tune but mostly due to its over-the-top choreography.

The crazy popularity of the K-pop also caught the attention of Laurel Noel, the director of the Chesterfield Athletic Club. She decided to add the song to the lineup in the fitness dance classes she teaches.

"I just heard people talking about it, so I looked at it and I realized how much fun it was," she said. "It's just a silly, funny dance and I thought it would be perfect to segue it into the classes."

"When you take a fun element like that, they are not really focusing on 'Gosh, I wish this was over' or "Gosh, this is hard,'" she said. "It's a distraction and allows you to really enjoy yourself.
