Jilly's Cupcake Bar Wins Best Breakfast Honor
In June, Jilly's Cupcake Bar and Cafe was declared the winner of Cupcake Wars on the Food Network.
has racked up another accolade - best breakfast place in St. Louis.
The University City eatery has won St. Louis Magazine's Breakfast of Champions bracket. Jilly's beat out 31 other eateries for the honor. The runner-up was Uncle Bill's Pancake and Dinner House, which has two St. Louis locations. The winner was chosen by an online poll.
Jilly's Sunday brunch buffet has developed quite a following. In addition, to the usual breakfast items like Eggs Benedict and French Toast the menu also boasts Jilly's popular Brisket Hash, as well as a 6 Cheese Mac & Cheese and Chicken and Egg salad. Patrons can top off their meals by hitting the make-your-own-cupcake bar.

Jilly's has had quite the year. In September, it expanded and remodeled. The new space includes more seating, a bigger kitchen and a party room for private events. In June,on the Food Network.
